Yes. A refundable security deposit is required for all metal detector rentals. Once the detector has been returned, inspected, and confirmed to be in satisfactory condition, the deposit will be refunded to your original payment method.

We offer a wide range of metal detectors from leading brands, including Minelab, Nokta, XP and Garrett. Whether you're just getting started or you're an experienced detectorist, you'll find a machine to suit your experience level, budget and the type of detecting you plan to do.

Yes. Every rental metal detector is thoroughly cleaned, tested and inspected before it is sent out. This includes checking:

• Coils and cables
• Control units and remotes (where applicable)
• Batteries and charging equipment
• Shafts and stems
  
  Only detectors that pass our quality checks are made available for hire, so you can rent with confidence.

You can book as soon as your preferred detector is available. For next working day delivery, place your order before 2:00pm. If the detector is already out on hire, you can reserve it for the next available date.

Yes. If you need your detector for longer, simply get in touch before your rental period ends. We'll do our best to extend your hire, subject to availability.

If your detector is returned late, the standard daily rental rate will be charged for up to 7 days after your agreed return date. If the detector has not been returned after this period and no alternative arrangement has been agreed, we reserve the right to charge the full retail value of the equipment.

If your detector is returned damaged or requires excessive cleaning, the cost of repair or cleaning will be deducted from your refundable deposit where appropriate.

If the cost exceeds the value of the deposit, you may be liable for the remaining repair costs, up to the full retail value of the detector. Normal wear and tear from responsible use is not charged.

Every metal detector rental includes everything you need to get started, including:

• Search coil
• Headphones (where supplied as standard)
• Battery and charging equipment (for rechargeable models)

Yes. You're welcome to collect your rental from our warehouse by prior arrangement. Simply select Collection at checkout or contact us to arrange a convenient collection time.

Please note: All hourly rentals must be collected from our warehouse and are not available for delivery.

To rent a metal detector, you'll need to provide a valid form of photo ID, such as a driving licence or passport. In some cases, we may also request proof of your current address as part of our security checks before your rental is approved.
